Banners and notices
Session, maintenance, environment and trial notices, and what to do about them.
The dashboard uses banners at the top of the page, and labels in the header, to tell you about things that affect your work, such as your session ending or planned maintenance.
| Notice | When you see it | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Session expiring | Your session is close to ending | Select Re-authenticate to stay signed in |
| Scheduled maintenance | Leena AI has planned maintenance coming up | Plan around it, then dismiss or snooze the banner |
| Maintenance in progress | Maintenance is happening now | Wait for it to finish |
| Environment label | You're in Staging, UAT or Pre-Prod | Check you're in the environment you meant to be in |
| Trial days left | Your company is on a trial | Extend the trial or contact Leena AI sales |
| Signed in as a different user | Another account signed in on this browser | Reload or sign out |
Session expiring
For security, your session lasts a set time. Ahead of the end, an hour before unless your company has chosen a different time, a banner counts down the time left:
Your session will expire in … Re-authenticate now to stay signed in, or you will be logged out automatically.
- Select Re-authenticate. The sign-in screen opens in a new tab. Sign in there, and that tab closes by itself. Your original tab keeps everything you were doing.
- Or select × to close the banner. It comes back in the last five minutes.
If you don't re-authenticate, you're signed out when the time runs out, and any unsaved changes are lost. See Signing in.
Scheduled maintenance
When Leena AI plans maintenance, an orange banner describes it ahead of time, so you can plan your work around it.
- Remind me later hides the banner for up to a day. It comes back sooner if the maintenance is close, so you're reminded a few hours before it starts.
- Dismiss hides the banner.
Hiding the banner in one tab hides it in your other dashboard tabs too.
While maintenance is in progress, the banner turns red and stays up until it's over. Some parts of the dashboard may not work during this time. The banner can also appear on the sign-in screen.
If your session is about to expire at the same time, the session banner is shown first. The maintenance banner comes back once you've dealt with it.
Environment label
When you're not in production, a label next to the module name shows the environment: Staging, UAT or Pre-Prod. Changes you make apply only to that environment. There's no label in production. See Finding your way around.
Trial days left
If your company is trying Leena AI, the header shows how many days are left in the trial. Open your profile menu to extend the trial, contact the Leena AI sales team, or delete your data.
Signed in as a different user
The dashboard keeps one signed-in account per browser. If someone signs in with a different account in another tab, your open tabs show Signed in as a different user:
- Reload to continue as the account that's now signed in.
- Sign out to sign out of this tab.
Changes you haven't saved on that screen are lost either way.
On a phone
The dashboard is made for a desktop or laptop. On a phone, the sign-in screen suggests you switch to one for the best experience.
