Global Search in KM Dashboard



Overview

This document outlines the enhancements made to the search functionality on the KM dashboard. Previously, searches were limited to articles and FAQ titles. The updated search now includes article content, audience names, and relevant keywords, providing a more comprehensive and efficient search experience.


How to Search

Navigate to the Home or Article page and use the search bar located in the top-right section of the page.

Users will have to type at-least 3 characters to retrieve the search results.



Search Parameters

Users can search for articles based on the following parameters:

  • Article name
  • Article content
  • Article audience name
  • Article keywords
  • FAQ Name

Note on Article Content: The search indexes the parsed content of the article, not the raw file.



Filters on Search Results

Users can further filter the search results based on the following parameters:

  • Source folder
    • Note: This filter will only appear if there are any connectors or external sources present apart from 'All categories'.
  • Article type:
    • Policy
    • QuestionBook
    • Sop
    • Form
    • Other
  • Article owner
  • Tags
